How to turn simple chords into Beautiful Fingerstyle Guitar Music

Ever wondered how to craft beautiful fingerstyle guitar music?

Perhaps you're eager to compose an instrumental piece
or add a captivating intro to your song,
but you're stuck with basic guitar chords.

In this video ( one of the rare ones where I talk in English.. )
I share some tips that will help you transform simple guitar chords
into captivating melodies.

Improvisation as a mindset

A significant portion of my music revolves around improvisation.
I often minimize the time between creating a piece and releasing it.

This approach keeps me in the creative flow 
and prevents unnecessary self-doubt from hindering my progress.

I view releasing music as a public diary of sorts—
a reflection of my life story told through musical notes
rather than written words.

In my interactions with fellow musicians,
I've noticed many struggle with overthinking
or fear of sharing their art with the world.

this term extends beyond traditional arts to encompass
any profession requiring a creative touch,
I encourage you to read an enlightening article
by esteemed author Steven Pressfield,

The many versions of YOU


One of the joys of being an independent musician today
is the ability to revisit, revise, and reimagine previously released music.

About a year and a half ago,
I shared two guitar pieces that have since garnered nearly
300,000 streams on Spotify.

Originally, these songs began as Instagram videos
before finding their way onto Spotify,
first on my Roy De Paz profile ( link to the music )
and later as full instrumental versions with a touch of Mediterranean flair
on my Roy Zakai profile ( link to the music ).

But the journey doesn't end there.

Soon, I'll be releasing a chilled-out, minimalist rendition of this music,
complete with soothing basslines and subtle percussion.

Just like how a single track can have multiple interpretations and versions,
each representing a different aspect of our creativity,
we too have many versions of ourselves waiting
to be expressed and shared with the world.

For me, creativity holds the power to inspire and uplift others.
Don't hesitate to step into the spotlight 
and share your unique gifts with the world.
